IL TEATRO NEI PAESI (Theatre in the Villages)

IL TEATRO NEI PAESI is an itinerant theatrical project that creates artistic forays into the squares of small towns and their hamlets. A Piaggio Ape Car transformed into a theater is the meeting place chosen by Progetto RESCUE! to promote the cultural and social use of public space as an essential resource of this historical moment.
Parades, workshops, shows and concerts to get in touch with small communities and bring them closer, in a simple and direct way, to artistic practice and live entertainment.

With Il Teatro in Countries we want to reaffirm our commitment to favor the decentralization of art and its use, to bring attention to microtourism and to the knowledge of the territory by its inhabitants as well as to invite an empathic and collective dimension that is increasingly necessary in contemporary society. .

The first edition took place on the shores of Lake Maggiore with the support of the municipalities of Stresa and Baveno. The group of artists involved has forged a bond with the host countries by involving them in the process and in the construction of the theater and the show. The artists, guests of the villagers, immersed themselves in the culture of the place by inviting some realities of the territory to speak about ApeCarico. In this way, from village to village, a real community was created around the project which made it a total and unforgettable experience.

RAYMI / PARTY

RAYMI, through live music, songs, dance and theatre, tells the difficulties of a young foreigner who works as a collector of wasted fruit and vegetables in the city market. He is a collector of experiences, adventures, thoughts, in search of his place in the "society of waste".

Thanks to an intense work based on the interviews with young people of the Ass. Eco dalla Città and the quality of the encounter, Vicente Cabrera collected numerous stories, songs, traditions and dreams that he transcribed, in dramaturgical theatrical form.
The text compares the ''food waste" to the "experiential waste". The redemption of fruit, which after a long journey remains unsold and forgotten, is compared to the lives of many migrants who, forced to travel, find themselves feeling like an "abandoned apple".

THE FOOD ROUTE

Vicente borrowed the values of RePoPP to develop an artistic methodology against "experiential waste" - stories, songs and thoughts of those who faced a journey and of those who work every day as a collector in the Porta Palazzo’s market. This collection of stories was the food for building a small monologue to raise awareness about food waste.
